Actor turned director & Producer,  Kangana Ranaut is very aggressive on her Twitter handle, and on the occasion of International’s Women’s day and birth anniversary of Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Late J Jayalalithaa, she has updated a video wishing International’s Women’s day and a reveler video clip of Thalaivi. The releasing date is also announced by the makers Thalaivi and that is 23rd April 2021. 

The promo video carries the wishing message as "All women are born great, but it takes an Iron Lady to recognize her inner Thalaivi. Saluting the strong and persevering spirit of womanhood! Happy Women's Day."  Kangna summed up the messages with a few tags and looked enthusiastic. The fans are liking the promos and praising the actor's work.

Manikarnika fame actress Kangana Ranaut is playing the key role in 'Thalaivi'. The movie is a biopic based on the life story of former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister and actress late J Jayalalithaa. Kangana has put her blood and sweat into this movie, she not only learned Tamil but also Telugu as this movie will be released in three languages, Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi and Vijay is the director of the movie. The other actor in the key role is Arvind Swami essaying the role of a popular AIADMK leader MGR.
