Actor Mansoor Ali Khan who was last seen in Leo, has reportedly extended an apology to his co-actress Trisha Krishnan for his derogatory remarks. His recent controversial and offensive comments directed at the Tamil actress had kept him in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons. The actor switched off his phone and went underground after Chennai cops booked him for his controversial comments. According to the recent developments, he has finally made an apology. As per updates shared by trade analyst and film critic Ramesh Bala, Mansoor has released a statement seeking forgiveness. A part of his statement addressed Trisha directly, stating, "My co-actress Trisha, Please forgive me." Known for his antagonistic roles in Tamil cinema, Mansoor reportedly added, "May God grant me blessings equivalent to the blessings received when your blessings land on the coconut plate at home!! Earlier, Trisha expressed strong disapproval of the actor's comments, condemning his statements. Via her official X account, she addressed a recent video where Mansoor Ali Khan made derogatory remarks about her. She emphasized her stance, describing his remarks as sexist, disrespectful, misogynistic, repulsive, and in poor taste. Trisha asserted her gratitude for never having worked with someone of his demeanour and vowed to ensure it remains that way for the entirety of her film career. She concluded by denouncing individuals like him for tarnishing the reputation of humanity.


The National Commission for Women in Delhi proactively acknowledged the issue and directed the Tamil Nadu police to initiate legal action against Mansoor. Subsequently, the All Women Police Station in Thousand Lights, Chennai, pressed relevant charges against him in response to the directive.
