Produced by Rajan Shahi, Star Plus’ show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami, Preeti Amin and many more in pivotal roles, the show is one of the most-watched shows that often tops the weekly TRP charts. The show went through a generational leap where it was seen that after Abhimanyu and Abhir’s deaths, Akshara restarts her life in Mussoorie with her and Abhinav’s daughter Abhira. In yesterday’s episode, it was seen that Armaan and Akshara come face to face in court as they fight Yuvraj and Anurag’s case.

Today’s episode starts with Akshara stating that she has an eye-witness Smita Negi. Judge grants her the permission. Smita comes and stands on the witness box. Akshara reveals how Smita has lost her partner, which is why she has no reason to lie. Armaan proceeds to ask her a few questions. Smita discloses how it was definitely Yuvraj that killed Anurag as they had a spat earlier. As Armaan asks her why would he do that, Smita looks at Akshara and takes Abhira’s name, leaving the former shocked. As Akshara questions Abhira, it is revealed that Yuvraj is her stalker who was continuously harassing her. Abhira even throws Jagrat under the bus by stating how the father-son duo continuously harassed her and her mother. Armaan asks the court for some time so that he can find out the truth. Armaan starts investigating about Yuvraj. On the other hand, Akshara asks Abhira if she is prepared to fight the case as Yuvraj and Jagrat will leave no stone unturned to question her character. Abhira tells her mother that she is strong and can go through everything. Armaan talks to Yuvraj, who puts a spin on everything by stating that Abhira was with him for his money and expensive gifts. Further in the episode it is seen that Armaan gets Rohit’s call. He informs Armaan that Madhav was shot. Armaan starts panicking as Sanjay advices him to focus on the case. In the midst of it all, Ruhi starts calling Armaan. Armaan asks Abhira to cancel the calls as all he wants to do is talk to his brother at the moment. Irritated by Ruhi’s persistent calling, Abhira slams her by stating that Armaan is currently busy and doesn’t want to talk to anyone. Ruhi gets shocked as her friend makes her realise that she might not be important for Armaan if a girl picked her call from his phone. Everyone breathes a sigh of relief as Madhav is out of danger. As Armaan states that he wants to be with his father and not fighting the case, Abhira gives him a candy to lift his spirits.

In the upcoming episode of serial, Ruhi and Rohit will get engaged. Armaan will reach to pick up Akshara and Abhira for the court hearing so that he can safely drop them off. Abhira doubts his intentions.
