Starring Samridhii Shukla, Shehzada Dhami and Preeti Amin among many more, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai has been running successfully for almost 15 years now. Having started the journey with Hina Khan and Karan Mehra, the Rajan Shahi production is not only one of the most-watched shows in India, but it also often tops the weekly BARC ratings. In yesterday’s episode, it was seen that in a fit of rage, Yuvraaj kills Anurag leaving Abhira and Akshara enraged.

Today’s episode starts with Akshara and Abhira consoling Smita as she grieves Anurag. Kipling informs them that the police are refusing to take his body for a post-mortem because the inspector wants to dismiss the case by taking money from MLA Jagrat. As Akshu and Abhira state that they should send Yuvraj to jail for killing Anurag, Kipling asks them to be careful as they also have a life to live. Smita motivates the mother-daughter duo to fight for Anurag and get him justice. At the Poddar house, Vidya and Kajal get into a rangoli competition. Sanjay asks Dadi who she thinks will win and she states that she has a special place for her daughter and daughter-in-law. The kids take turns guessing who will win. At the same time, Ruhi and Armaan are seen chatting with each other. Ruhi asks him how he likes her Rangoli and he tells her that she should learn how to make rangoli from his mother. Armaan sends her the photo of the Rangoli. Madhav chooses Kajal’s rangoli to be the winner and Sanjay taunts her. Dadi reveals that next year three rangolis will be made. Everyone starts teasing Rohit. Armaan gets excited thinking about how even Ruhi will be joining the celebrations next week, unaware that Dadi has chosen Ruhi to be Rohit’s bride. During a call with Dadi and Vidya, Manish informs them that Ruhi needs more time to make a decision on the marriage as it is a huge responsibility. Dadi gets angry as she states how Rohit will be a good husband. Vidya consoles her mother-in-law. While on one hand Armaan and Ruhi keep on flirting with each other, Abhira hears Yuvraj’s voice and figures out where he is hiding. She rushes to the police station and informs Akshara where he can be found. 

The police go there and arrest Yuvraj. Jagrat comes there and threatens Abhira, leaving her worried. In the upcoming episode of the show, it will be seen that Yuvraaj comes out of jail and meets Abhira. Ruhi waits for Armaan. Armaan and Abhira come face to face after their cars collide with each other.
