Speaking of the Annapoorani controversy, the film faced controversy over certain scenes, leading to an FIR against the actress and the filmmakers for alleged religious sentiments harm. Following the complaint, Netflix swiftly removed the movie. Nayanthara has not yet responded to the matter.
