In wake of the second wave of Covid-19, the government of Tamil Nadu has imposed restrictions on the operations of public places including theatres, and post elections the state government has announced a complete lockdown from May 6th to 20th to break the chain of the virus. Therefore, the makers of the movie titled “Nenjam Marapathillai” have decided to release it on Zee 5 OTT Platform. The star cast includes SJ Suryah, Regina Cassandra, and Nandita Swetha in the lead roles, and the movie is directed by Selvaraghavan.

The announcement about the release is updated by the official Twitter of Zee5 Tamil. The post reads – “ Iyakkunar Selvaraghavan padaipil psycho vaga SJ Suryah nadikkum suspense koodiya thigil kadhai #NenjamMarapathillai May 14 mudhal unga #ZEE5 la paarunga! @iam_SJSuryah @selvaraghavan @ReginaCassandra @Nanditasweta @thisisysr”.

Gautham Vasudev Menon and Escape Artist Madan are the producers of “Nenjam Marapathillai”. Reportedly, the official announcement of the release date is May 14, 2021, previously it was scheduled on March 26th on OTT.
