Nizhal Fame Remya Suresh lodges a complaint with the Cyber Cell a viral porn video that includes her morphed face.
Malayalam actress Remya Suresh has lodged a complaint with the cyber cell in Kerala after a pornographic video using her morphed face was circulated on social media. The video went viral on Facebook and the woman looking like a look-alike of Remya attracted a frenzy of negative attention. Upon close inspection, it becomes clear that the clip has been wrongfully fabricated with a view to bully Remya.
The actress commented to a leading news platform stating, "How can I reach out to every single person and tell that they are not seeing me in that video clip? This video would have taken a toll on my mental peace, had I believed it is showing me.”
The Superintendent of Police in Alappuzha has taken the complaint followed by another complaint made in the cyber cell. Remya said that the officers who took her complaint supported her and initiated the probe immediately. They are currently collecting data of the WhatsApp group including the person who has shared it as well as the admin.
This appalling act of cyber-bullying has threatened the image of the actress among her friends, family as well as the industry. The investigation is ongoing but there is no update about the origin of the circulation of the video.
