Upcoming Tamil drama starrer Kathir facing public protest against shooting with a large crowd.
The young heartthrob actor Kathir last appeared on the silver screen in Tamil horror Kumaran directorial titled “Jada”. Kathir has a handful of projects and appeared in many Tamil films. As per the reports, recently Kathir faced public opposition on his shooting place. The reason for the protest was, in his upcoming film there is a funeral scene, where a huge gathering was seen in Chennai. In the wake of rising cases of COVID-19, the responsible citizens of Chennai started protesting the shooting spot keeping in mind that it could be hazardous during a pandemic.
The citizens present on the shooting spot were so angry that they lodged a police complaint against the makers of the Tamil film. Resultantly, the makers have to suspend the shooting of the film as they were breaking the CORONA restrictions imposed by the state Government
Reportedly, Kathir will be playing the role opposite Anandhi for this upcoming horror. Zac Harries is starting his career as a director from this thriller. The other prominent artists are Pavithralakshmi and Athmiya Rajan among others.
