On 26th January 1950, the constitution of India came into effect and India got truly independent. For the celebration of India's full independence, we all celebrate Republic day. Republic Day is celebrated all across India with pride. On this special occasion, we've taken out some surprisingly Patriotic scenes of Tamil stars.

1. Arvind Swami
The veteran actor, Arvind Swami has brought us many hit and inspiring movies. One of his best movies is "Roja" which was released in 1992. In the film, A group of terrorists abduct Arvind and tries to burn the Indian flag but to show how much he loves and respects his country Arvind risks his life to put out the fire.


2. Kamal Hassan
From Hindi to Tamil Kammal Hassan has brought us many hit films. Kamal Hassan's "Hey Ram" a 2000 Indian historical movie that is written, directed and produced by Kamal Hassan. This fictional Indian drama movie is about the story of Saketh Ram, a disillusioned man who tries to kill Mohandas Gandhi.


3. Ilayathalapathy Vijay
The famous Tamil actor, Ilayathalapathy Vijay has worked in many Tamil films. meanwhile, his role in "Thuppaakki" is quite impressive. When a group of terrorists plans to rip apart Mumbai, an army captain, Vijay gathers his team and saves the city from the terrorist's evil attacks.


4. Arjun Sarja
Arjun Sarja's hit film, Mudhalvan always sparks a sense of pride and justice in Indian's heart. Arjun, an ambitious TV Journalist accepts a challenge to become the Chief Minister of Tamil for a day and reveals all the corruption and punishes and arrests many fraudulent including the real chief minister and opens the eyes of the general public.


5. Sayaji Shinde
The Indian actor Sayaji Shinde has worked in many films including Marathi, Tamil, and Hindi. His film, Bharati is based on the biography of the life of the Indian freedom fighter, Mahakavi Subramaniya Bharathiar who fought to bring equality in Indian society.
