South actress Anicka Vijayi Vikramman recently took to social media, revealing she was brutally beaten up by her ex-boyfriend. She shared pictures of her bruised face and body which have gone viral on the internet. She claimed that she was mentally and physically tortured by her ex over the years. Her photos showing fatal injuries on her face and a blood clot around the eye have left everyone shocked and worried.
On Monday, Anicka took to her Instagram handle and dropped her series of photos where her face and other parts of her body were seen badly injured. Alongside it, she wrote, “Inspite of leaving these incidents behind I ve been receiving threatening calls and me and my family is being degraded continuously.The last pic was clicked before my ex boyfriend s attack on me I was very excited to show my hair cut anyways it’s in the past.I ll start posting pics from this week I missed insta.” In her post, she also shared a note informing that she has filed a Police complaint against her ex-boyfriend, who has gone underground. She also alleged that he is constantly sending threats to her and her family.
Anicka revealed that she was in love with a man named Anoop Pillai and they were dating for a long time. But he has been abusing her mentally and physically for the past few years. “I never dreamed that he would do this to me. When I was beaten up for the second time, I lodged a complaint with the Bengaluru police. I was beaten for the first time in Chennai. After that he fell at my feet and cried. I was foolish to believe him then. He assaulted me with the confidence that if I approached the police with a complaint about this incident, the police would ask me to let him go. The reason for that was that he had also paid the police,” Anicka wrote in her post.
Police are investigating the matter and further details are awaited on the same. Meanwhile, Anicka is a well-known face in South cinema and she predominately features in Tamil movies.
