Kollywood blockbuster KGF Chapter 1 and KGF Chapter 2 director Prashanth Neel ropes in Tollywood and Bollywood actress Shruti Haasan for his upcoming movie ‘Sallar’. This movie is billed as a pan-India project and stars South Indian film industry’s one of the leading actors Prabhas. This is the first time Prabhas and Shruti Haasan will be seen romancing on screen. 

Few hours back, Hombale Films made the announcement of Shurti's appearance in the film which is a treat for Shruti Haasan’s fans and followers. Today, the actress is celebrating her 35th birthday and this seems the best way to wish her from the makers of Salaar. The official account of Hombale Films took to their Twitter account and wrote, “Wish you a very happy birthday @shrutihaasan. We’re ecstatic to have you onboard for #Salaar. Can’t wait to see you sizzle on the screen”


According to the reports, Vijay Sethupathi also will be portraying a vital role in the movie. Meanwhile, Shruti Haasan has wrapped shooting for Tamil movie ‘Laanam’ where she was paired with Vijay Sethupathi. It seems 2021 has kept plenty of multiple-language projects for her. Also, ‘Pitta Kathulu’, anthology film, is now on its post-production stage. In fact, ‘Vakeel Saab’ is also currently under production. She was last seen in ‘Krack’ with Ravi Teja in Telugu which released at the beginning of January 2021.
