Tamil superstar Karthik Sivakumar starrer upcoming action blockbuster Sultan has caused havoc among the fan base. Being a complete package of drama, comedy, romance, and stunning action, the film has everyone excited for its release. The film released its 2nd single Yaarayum Ivlo Azhaga, a week ago adding more to the excitement of fans. And now, the team has finally revealed the thing that everyone was waiting for, the release date.
According to the information, the film is scheduled to release on the 2nd of April this year. With the film’s date being near to the Tamil Nadu election dates which are on the 9th of April, everyone was worried about the change in the film’s release date. But talking about that, director Bakkiyaraj Kanna and the team announced that they won’t be changing the release date, therefore, confirming the release of the film.
Furthermore, the film is a Bakkiyaraj directorial film, produced under the banner of Dream Warrior Pictures. Starring Karthik as the male lead, the film has actress Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead. Talking about her, this film will be Rashmika’s debut in the Tamil film industry. The story of the film revolves around Karthik’s character who’s a younger brother among 100 brothers. The film seems to have an amazing story, thus the family entertainer has gained a huge response from the audience.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Karthik has another film coming up. Directed by renowned director Mani Ratnam, the film is a Tamil historical drama named Ponniyin Selvan. Rashmika on the other hand will soon be meeting fans with her upcoming Telugu action thriller film, Pushpa.
