Superstar Suriya who has given some blockbuster films like 24, Singam, Soorarai Pottru has been diagnosed with COVID-19 recently. He took to his Twitter handle to inform his fans that he is suffering from the novel Coronavirus and that he has started with his treatment while also reminding that life has not yet returned to normalcy. After the news broke out on social media, fans of the actor are extremely worried about his health and have flooded social media with speedy recovery and get well soon messages. That’s not it, they are also trending #GetWellSoonSURIYAanna out of concern and saying that Singam will be back with a bang. 

Among many, a fan wrote, “Prayers on behalf of all thala fans. Wish u  @Suriya_offl  a speedy recovery anna. Suriya’s tweet read, “I am suffering from 'corona' infection and am receiving treatment. We will all realize that life has not yet returned to normal. Can't be paralyzed with fear. At the same time, safety and attention are essential. Love and thanks to the dedicated supportive physicians.” Filmmaker Rajsekar Pandian who shares a strong bond with Suriya has shared the latter’s tweet on his own handle. Throwing light on the same, he writes, “Dear Brothers and Sisters Anna’s fine and nothing to worry.”
