The South film industry suffered a major blow as comedian and actor Vivekh passed away. Yesterday, reports emerged that he has been hospitalised in Chennai after suffering a cardiac arrest. Today, it got reported that he breathed his last. Several fans, friends and family are taking to social media to mourn his demise. Boney Kapoor too tweeted to pay his condolences to the family of the deceased. He also mentioned that late Sridevi was a big fan of actro Vivekh.

The filmmaker wrote, "My wife @sridevibkapoor was a big fan of actor Vivek she had got me hooked to his hilarious acts. Your presence and humour will be missed by all. I pray for strength to his family at this difficult time. #RIPVivek." Apart from Boney Kapoor, superstar Rajinikanth who worked with actor Vivekh in Sivaji also mourned his death. He wrote, "The demise of an iconic artist, social worker, and close friend of mine, Vivek, is heartbreaking. Every day I played with him in 'Sivaji' was an unforgettable day in my life. My deepest condolences to his family. May the soul of Vivek attain peace."

Prakash Raj tweeted, "Ahhh.. #vivek ...gone too soon dear friend ..thank you for planting thoughts n trees ...thank you for entertaining and empowering us with your wit and humour..will miss you…RIP." Check out the tweet here:


As per the reports, actor Vivekh suffered a cardiac arrest due to a 100 percent block in the blood vessel. It was just a few days ago that he had taken his Coronavirus vaccination dose.
