Tamil Cinema Industry mourns on Asuran actor Nitish Veera’s death due to COVID-19
The notable Tamil actor Nitish Veera entertained audiences by his performances in movies such as “Pudhupettai’ and ‘Vennila Kabadi Kuzhu '' breathed his last. He was tested positive for COVID-19. He also appeared in many blockbuster movies like Rajinikanth's “Kaala” and Dhanush's “Asuran”.

The Indian film Industry has lost many talents due to COVID-19 and Nitish Veera's death is one more outrageous death in the Tamil film fraternity due to the coronavirus infection. The second wave of coronavirus proved to be fatal and became the reason for the deaths of many in the Tamil film industry in the last few months. Asuran actor Nitish Veera was also tested positive for COVID19 and was under treatment, but due to uncontrollable infection, he could not survive.

Nitish Veera survived with a wife and two daughters, aged 8 and 7. The enriTamil film fraternity extended their heartfelt condolences to the family through their social networking pages.

The popular Tamil actor Krishna paid his homage on Twitter handle and captioned the post – “Rest in peace my friend Nitish Veera. We did two films together #kazhugoo and #Bellbottom. An extremely passionate actor and a kind soul. The second wave is not a joke guy.... can’t lose anyone anymore... pls stay in and stay safe".


The notable actress Ammu Abhirami also expressed her condolences and wrote an emotional note on Twitter- “Shattered to hear that Nitish Anna is no more, very shocking, such a wonderful and caring co-artist, never expected this, May his soul rest in peace”.


Nithish Veera played many important roles in the blockbuster movie, out of which he played Rajinikanth’s sons in Kaala, and starred in plenty of films, including “Vennila”, ”Kabaddi Kuzhu 2” and “Raatchasi” and recently appeared in Vetri Maaran’s Asuran in an important role. Reportedly, Nithish Veera also played a key role in Vijay Sethupathi and Shruti Haasan's 'Laabam' directed by SP Jananathan.
