Veteran Actor Prakash Raj Suffers A Fall While Shooting For Dhanush's Next; To Head To Hyderabad For Surgery
Veteran actor Prakash Raj has suffered a fall on the sets of a movie, also starring Dhanush, and ended up with a tiny fracture. He on Tuesday took to Twitter to announce he will be undergoing surgery at a private hospital in Hyderabad. He assured his fans that there was nothing to worry about and asked them to keep him in their prayers. Prakash Raj was shooting for the movie in Chennai. He was immediately rushed to the hospital for the required medical treatment.

The actor will be flying to Hyderabad to be treated by his pal, Dr. Guruva Reddy. His tweet read, “A small fall.. a tiny fracture.. flying to Hyderabad into the safe hands of my friend Dr. Guruvareddy for surgery. I will be fine nothing to worry about.. keep me in your thoughts.” The actor’s friend Dr Gurava Reddy is a well known orthopaedic surgeon, and joint replacement expert. Reacting to this news, his fans wished him a speedy recovery. One of the users wrote, “Get well soon legend,” another fan tweeted, “@prakashraaj get well soon prayers for you!”

“Pray for your early and full recovery. We all love you @prakashraaj” another said.


Prakash Raj has been roped in to play a pivotal role in Dhanush's upcoming film with Mithran Jawahar titled Thiruchitrambalam. The actor was also present at the film's pooja in Chennai on August 5. Besides his movie career, Prakash Raj is contesting in upcoming Movie Artistes Association elections to be held in Hyderabad.
