On Wednesday director Boyapati Srinu and the Akhanda team released a brand new poster of actor Nandamuri Balakrishna on the eve of his 61st birthday. In the poster, Balakrishna can be seen in a stylish avatar wearing a cream color blazer walking through a Holi celebration. Sharing the poster, the production house wrote, ''Wishing our #Akhanda, #NandamuriBalakrishna garu A very Happy Birthday. Here's #AkhandaBirthdayRoar for you''.
Every year fans celebrate the actor's birthday on a large scale. But as we continue to fight the Corona Virus, Nandamuri Balakrishna on June 7th, took to his social media account to request his fans not to gather at his residence to celebrate his birthday.

The actor wrote, ''Dear fans, I am always grateful and indebted to you for the love that you have been showering on me to visit and wish me every year on June 10 which is my birthday. But, in these pandemic times, it will not be a good thought to come to greet me. Your love and support have made me what I am today. No blessing is greater than your love, and there is no greater wish for me than your good health. The happy time that you spend with your family itself is my birthday celebration. I am once again requesting every fan not to come to wish me. My deepest condolences to the fans and others who have lost their lives in these tough times."



Akhanda' is an action thriller, directed by Boyapati Sreenu's and produced by Miryala Ravinder Reddy under the banner of Dwaraka Creations. The film also stars Pragya Jaiswal and Meka Srikanth.The film also marks Nandamuri Balakrishna and the director's third collaboration together.
