Bangaraju: Akkineni Nagarjuna And Naga Chaitanya To Start Shooting For The Sequel Of Soggade Chinni Nayana From Today

Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are working together for the second time for Bangaraju. The film is directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala and starts rolling from today in Hyderabad.

Bangaraju: Akkineni Nagarjuna And Naga Chaitanya To Start Shooting For The Sequel Of Soggade Chinni Nayana From Today

King Akkineni Nagarjuna explored almost every genre in his decades-long career and he continues to pick a wide variety of roles and films to date. The actor also enjoys a huge fan base among family audiences. Nagarjuna's 2016 hit film Soggade Chinni Nayana directed by Kalyan Krishna Kurasala was the highest grosser for the actor.

 On Wednesday, the team announced the sequel of the film. The upcoming sequel is titled Bangaraju and this much-awaited film will feature Nagarjuna’s elder son Yuva Samrat Akkineni Naga Chaitanya in another lead role. The craziest multi-starrer was launched recently and a regular shoot has commenced today in Hyderabad.

 The celebrated father-son duo previously appeared together in Akkineni’s multi-starrer Manam which will be remembered as one of the all-time classic blockbusters and also as the most memorable film for Akkineni family and fans. Actor Ramya Krishna who was seen in SCN is part of Bangaraju as well. The makers have roped in the most sought-after heroine Krithi Shetty to play Naga Chaitanya’s love interest. Anup Rubens scores music for the film. Satyanand has penned the screenplay, while Yuvaraj handles the cinematography.

 Bangaraju is billed to be a wholesome entertainer laced with a good dose of romance, emotions, and other commercial ingredients. Expectations are quite high on the project since it is the sequel for the blockbuster and Nagarjuna and Naga Chaitanya are working together for the second time. The film is Zee Studios will be co-producing the project with Annapurna Studios Pvt Ltd. Nagarjuna is the producer.

Meanwhile, Naga Chaitanya will be making his Bollywood debut with Aamir Khan starter Laal Singh Chadha, which is expected to release later this year. He also has Love Story with actress Sai Pallavi releasing in theaters on 10 September.
