Superstar Nagarjuna Akkineni’s reality show Bigg Boss Telugu season 6 concluded on Sunday. During the much-awaited grand finale playback singer and Indian Idol 9 winner LV Revanth was declared the winner of the show. According to ETimes the winner took home the trophy, prize money of Rs. 10 lakhs, a plot worth 25 lakhs and a brand new car. 

While, Revanth’s co-contestant Shrihan had gotten marginally more votes than the singer, he accepted the golden briefcase of Rs. 40 lakhs making the former the winner of the sixth season. The playback singer was one of the most popular contestants of the season. He was the last contestant to enter the show in the premiere episode. On the personal front, Revanth’s wife, who he got married to in Februrary, was pregnant when he entered the show. He became a proud father of a baby girl on December 1. He had celebrated his wife’s baby shower in the house with housemates. Talking about his performance in the show, the singer was known for his dedication to win from day one. While he was tagged as a thrash contestant alongside Geetu and Inaya, his emotional stories aboyt his father struck a chord with his fans and other contestants. The LV was the first contestant to become the captain of the house twice in the show. 

He was often criticized by his housemates for being loud, his habit of saving food, aggressive gameplay, his tendancy to correct others and his role as a captain and ration manager in the house. No matter the criticisms and fights he had to face, Reveant shared a great raport with Sri Satya, Adi Reddy, Inaya and Shrihan.
