Bollywood actress and South sensation Shruti Haasan turns a year old today. Since morning, wishes have been pouring in for the actress, who turns 35 today. Shruti’s birthday became all the more memorable for the actress and her fans after Prabhas welcomed her onboard as he made the big announcement of her upcoming film Salaar opposite him. Produced by Vijay Kiragandur and directed by ace filmmaker Prashanth Neel, Salaar has become one of the most anticipated films of all times. While the actress is busy rejoicing with her new project, her 2017’s tweet has now gone viral.

Shruti’s old Tweet saw her clearing the rumour of her doing a Kannada film. The Tweet she wrote on October 7, 2017 read, “Clarifying that I have no plans of doing a Kannada film in the near future and have had no discussion with any1 regarding it either.” While fans have been circulating the Tweet heavily on social media, we believe, just like everyone else, things have also changed for the Gabbar Is Back actress.

Shruti re-shared the poster on her Instagram and its caption read, “@hombalefilms Wish you a very happy birthday @shrutzhaasan  We're ecstatic to have you onboard for #Salaar. Can't wait to see you sizzle on the screen. THANKYOU SO MUCH !! Super excited for this one and can’t wait !!!”

At midnight, Shruti shared a picture from her midnight celebration and wrote a gratitude note alongside. Her caption read, “Filled with gratitude and joy !!!
