Recently, actress Keerthy Suresh’s sister Revathy penned a long social media post talking about her struggle with managing weight and being ridiculed for it. Revathy took to her Instagram account and shared a collage of pictures, while writing about how as a teenager, she never felt confident about her looks. Keerthy has now lauded her sister, and said that she is so proud of her!
In her caption, Revathy wrote, "All my life I have been struggling with managing my weight. I was ridiculed for my weight, in constant comparison with my mother and even my sister. Therefore, never in my teenage years I felt confident about how I looked and even convinced myself that this is all I am, not as beautiful as them.” She further added that she felt she wasn’t normal, and people made her believe in those things. Revathy also recalled that when her husband proposed to her, she wondered what he saw in her.
Revathy recalled yet another incident when a lady complimented how beautiful her sister and mother look, but then asked her, “What happened to you?” She said that she would spend hours in front of the mirror wondering why she doesn’t find herself beautiful. “She then wrote that her yoga teacher snapped her out of it, and believed in her.
