Koilamma Fame Amar Shashank Gets Arrested For Allegedly Abusing A Woman; Actor Denies Allegations: ‘Was Intentionally Framed’
According to the latest reports, Koilamma fame Amar Shashank has been arrested on Thursday after a complaint was registered against him for abusing a woman. The actor denies allegations and says that he was wrongly framed
Telugu actor Amar Shashank got booked for misbehaving with a woman after a video of him abusing a woman circulated on social media and got viral. As per ETimes, Amar has also been arrested on February 10, 2021, by Raidurgam police for the same reason and he was taken into police custody after a complaint was registered against him. Though it was not confirmed that the said allegations were made by him are true or false, he recently spoke to the portal and denied all the allegations, saying that he was wrongly framed.
Amar broke his silence and was quoted saying, "I was intentionally framed in this. Swathi and I went to Srividya's house to ask for the machine and she (Srividya) along with Uma and Ramesh initially agreed to give it. But later, they called Lakshmi Sri, Uma and a local thug and refused to give the machine. Lakshmi deliberately shot the argument and made my portion viral on social media." He added, "Swathi and I were not on talking terms with Aparna and Ramesh for a while now and Aparna has been waiting for a chance to book me. Otherwise, there were almost 15 people in the room; why is that a carefully edited portion of mine put on social media?”
Shashank further said to the portal that his lawyer is trying to get him a bail soon. He might also address the media on the issue very soon, to make his points loud and clear. Amar Shashank is popularly known for his role in Koilamma series.
