The pandemic has proved a disaster for many of us but the movie fraternity is the one who suffered a huge loss. Actor Vijay Deverakonda who has a massive fan following is one of many who is worried about his work. The actor announced his Pan- India film Liger directed by Puri Jagannadh in 2020. But 2 months into the shooting a lockdown was declared bringing the shoot to a halt. However, they commenced the shooting this year only to hit by the second lockdown. Liger is slated to release in September but has to bear the postponement yet again as the shoot has been stalled.

Arjun Reddy actor is now concerned that things are not moving his way. A lot of his time is being wasted as he has given almost 2 years for this project till the time it comes on big screens. To compensate for the gap the rowdy star might do director Shiva Nirvana’s film followed by Sukumar’s film coming year. In a hurry to be a familiar name in the Pan-India sector, looks like the actor disrupted his career planning completely.

Even though there has been a delay in his projects, his fame and admiration among the fans haven't declined. The first poster of Liger which was released in January this year received a lot of love from his fans. The charismatic actor will be seen playing the role of a kickboxer. He also has been learning martial arts and has gone through a major physical transformation for the same.

Liger is jointly produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta, Hiroo Yash Johar, and Puri Jagannadh. The film also stars Ananya Panday.
