Bollywood actress and South sensation Shruti Haasan for the first time landed in Chennai after the news about her relationship went viral. For the past few months, Shruti has been dating a doodle artist Santanu Hazarika, who hails from Guwahati. The couple has been turning the heads with their love story. On Shruti Haasan’s 35th birthday, Santanu had thrown a surprise birthday bash for the actress which was absolutely loved by her. Now for the first time after making their relationship official, the rumoured lovebirds landed in Chennai.
Taking to her Insta stories, Shruti Haasan shared a couple of pictures from Chennai as soon as they landed. Even before she could reach the destination, Shruti satisfied her cravings and had murukku while on her way home. Sharing the video on the stories of herself taking a bite, she wrote, “My feet shall touch the ground in magical Chennai and Muukku shall be consumed.” The other pictures see the love birds posing with their good friend and costume designer Amritha Ram.
Earlier speaking of the beans on their relationship, Shruti Haasan’s boyfriend Santanu told Pinkvilla, “I would just say that I really don’t discuss my relationships. I like to keep things personal, and prefer to talk about my art and work.” He further spoke about the relationship he shares with Shruti. He added, “Having said that, Shruti and I share a very passionate relationship when it comes to art, music and culture. It’s a beautiful friendship and bond that we share. In fact, we met because of our similar taste in music, fashion and culture and that’s the most beautiful part about this.”

When quizzed about his relationship with Shruti Haasan, Santanu added, “I wouldn’t like to comment on that. She got to know about me through my art and I obviously knew of her, so that’s how we connected. We actually first connected over music.
