Currently, actor Nithin is waiting for the release of Maestro, the Telugu remake of Ayushmann Khuranna's Andhadhun. The film was scheduled to release in June this year however, given the current pandemic situation the film will look for a new release date. Now as per some reports the actor is waiting for the current situation to come under control so that he can start work with writer turned director Vakkantham Vamsi, who has earlier worked with superstar Allu Arjun in Naa Peru Sury. Though the director's debut film was a dud, Nithin has confidence in his next script. Reportedly, the actor has liked the director's script which is touted to be an action drama, the script works are currently in the final stages and Nithin would like to start the work later this year.
Nithin who did not have a great run at the box office with romantic family drama Rang De and action-thriller Check is banking high on his next film Maestro. The film was originally directed by Sriram Raghavan and starred Ayushmann, Tabu, and Radhika Apte in the lead role. This will also mark Nithiin’s 30th film. As the film was initially planned to release on June 11th this year, there are chances it might be pushed until things settled down.
