Celebrities seem to be caught up in a storm and many have been vocal about their health issues and their latest harrowing diagnosis. Recently, Samantha Ruth Prabhu revealed that she has been diagnosed with Myositis. While fans expressed their shock by the news, they were also worried about her health.
Now, yet also a celebrity from the south has been diagnosed with a rare disorder called Fibromyalgia. As per a BollywoodLife report, this disease is characterized by musculoskeletal pain and gives issues including fatigue, sleep, memory, and mood issues.
Actress Poonam Kaur who has been away from films for a while now recently visited Kerala as she suffered from back pain. She underwent an ayurvedic treatment. The BollywoodLife report quoted team of doctors and experts confirming that she is suffering from Fibromyalgia. Ms Kaur has had extreme body pains for the past two years now.
Sharing a note on Fibromyalgia, Poonam wrote: “Let’s rest for a bit (sic).” It read: ‘Fibromyalgia is when a motivated person with lots of plans is forced to slow down and rest…’
In the comments section, a lot of people wished her a speedy recovery. Many wrote, “Take care” and “Get well soon”.
On the work front, Poonam has been part of numerous Telugu films including Srinivasa Kalyanam, Next Enti?, Eenadu, Ganesh, Nagavalli, and more.
Coming back to Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s Myositis the actress announced her diagnosis via social media post alongside a heartfelt note. Her parents plan to take her to South Korea for better treatment and will take care of her for a few days.
