Just last month the shoot of Prabhas starrer Radhe Shyam was brought to a halt as the actor's make-up man had tested Covid positive. Hence, the makers decided to indefinitely cancel the reshoot. What would come as a disappointment for fans is Prabhas' much-awaited film might not be able to keep up with its release date, i.e 30th July.
While most of the film’s shoot is completed, the makers had decided to reshoot some of the scenes for which the actor had traveled to Hyderabad. Now it's reported that the film needs more time for graphic work and has some unfinished VFX work. Due to some reason, scenes that were shot in Italy will now be recreated with VFX, rather than shooting it again, and hence, the film would need extra time. Meanwhile, the film also has to complete a song and few days of patchwork. With all of this work pending and the current situation, it is highly unlikely for Radhe Shyam to release in July.
Having said that, if rumors are to be believed the makers are looking for a Dussera 2021 or a Christmas release, but nothing yet has been confirmed by the team. Well for now the makers are waiting for the Covid cases to come under control so that they could resume the shoot. Set in Europe, Radhe Shyam is bankrolled by UV Creations, Gopi Krishna Movies, and T Series.
