South star Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni left their fans elated when they announced the birth of their darling daughter. They welcomed a daughter, 11 years after tying the knot, on Tuesday at the Apollo Hospital Jubilee Hills in Hyderabad. Not only was the arrival of the little princess celebrated by the family members and the Telugu industry, but even the fans took to the streets to welcome her.

Pictures and videos from the celebrations are going viral on social media. Fans were seen taking to the streets to dance their hearts out to the beats of the dhol. Even the staff of the hospital celebrated the birth of the little munchkin by cutting cake and with red balloons. The now viral videos were posted on Twitter by Ram's fan pages. Elated at the birth of his granddaughter, an emotional Chiranjeevi addressed the media. He revealed that the entire family is very happy to welcome a baby girl. He added, "We are delighted to welcome our granddaughter, especially on our favourite day, Tuesday. It is believed that the baby girl was born during auspicious hours, and her horoscope is also remarkable. We can see the positive impact on our family right from the start. Charan’s career growth and Varun’s engagement, everything is going well in our family." On the work front, Ram was last seen in RRR which was declared a worldwide success. He is currently busy shooting for his next film RC15. It is directed by Shankar and the movie also stars SJ Suryah and Kiara Advani in pivotal roles. If reports are to be believed, the movie is set in the 1970s and the actor will be playing an IAS officer with anger issues. Ram also recently announced his next project. A sports drama that will be directed by Buchi Babu Sana.
