South Actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Varun Dhawan’s upcoming film ‘Citadel’, helmed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK. As the actress is foraying into Hindi cinema, she has purchased a luxurious and swanky sea-view apartment worth a whopping Rs. 15 crores in Mumbai. Yes, you read that right! As per the latest reports, Samantha bought a lavish three-bedroom 3BK apartment and she recently posted a sunkissed selfie from her new plus abode.
It is being said that the 'Oo Antava' actress has spent a hefty price and purchased the new apartment in a porch area. While she is yet to confirm the news, speculations regarding Samantha buying a new house started doing headlines after she shared a photo of her and reportedly it was captured from a skyscraper in Mumbai. In the picture, the actress was seen smiling showing off her natural glowing face. Reportedly, Samantha, who is a popular name in the South film cinema, has shifted to Mumbai to pursue her career in the Hindi film industry. It should be noted that she is not the first South actress to debut in Bollywood. Earlier Rashmika Mandanna, Anushka Shetty, and Shalini Pandey debuted in Hindi cinema. Nayanthara is also making her Bollywood debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan with Atlee’s upcoming film Jawan.
Meanwhile, Samantha’s Hindi film ‘Citadel’ marks her second collaboration with Raj and DK and first with Varun Dhawan. She is currently gearing up for the release of her film ‘Shaakuntalam’ which is directed by Gunasekar. The mythological drama also stars Dev Mohan, Allu Arha, Mohan Babu, and others.
