South superstar Rajinikanth’s daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth has lodged a police complaint after she lost the key of her sport utility vehicle (SUV). She filed the complaint at the Teynampet police station in Chennai. In her complaint, Soundarya mentioned that she lost the key of the Range Rover car when she used another car to attend a function at a private college. As Police is investing the matter, further details are awaited on the same.
Earlier in March, Soundarya’s older sister Aishwarya moved to Teynampet Police Police Station to file a complaint over the theft of jewellery worth 60 sovereigns. The FIR copy of the complaint revealed that Aishwarya kept the jewellery in a locker and that some household workers knew about it. The case was registered under Section 381 of the IPC. Aishwarya in her complaint stated she wore the jewellery at her sister Soundarya’s wedding in 2019 and since then it was kept in a locker which has been in Aishwarya’s possession. Not just that, Aishwarya’s diamond sets, antique gold pieces, Navaratnam sets, bangles and nearly 60 sovereigns of gold worth Rs 3.60 lakh were also stolen. She mentioned the names of her two maids and driver as suspects in her complaint and they got arrested in the case.
For the unversed, Soundarya, the younger daughter of Rajinikanth and his wife Latha Rajinikanth is a renowned face in the industry. She ventured into direction with the 2014 released film ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ which starred her father in a lead role with Deepika Padukone. She also directed ‘Velaiilla Pattadhari 2’ with Dhanush and Kajol.
