Actress Gauahar Khan and her husband Zaid Darbar have finally embraced parenthood as they have been blessed with a baby boy. On March 10, the actress gave birth to her first child and the couple shared the happy news with fans on social media with a sweet note. Soon after they announced the arrival of their little son, congratulatory wishes started pouring in from celebrities, fans, and near and dear ones.

Both Gauahar and Zaid took to their respective Instagram handles and shared a note with the caption, "Allahumma baarik fihi." Their statement read, “It's a boy. As salaam u alakum beautiful world, says our bundle of joy. Arrived 10th of May 2023. To makes us realise what happiness truly means. Our blessed boy thanks everyone for their love and prayers. Reacting to her post, Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma wrote, “Congratulations.” Vikrant Massey commented, "Bahut bahut mubaarak to you both. Stay blessed." Neeti Mohan said, “Welcome to the world llittle angel  Many many congratulations to the lovely parents @gauaharkhan @zaid_darbar This is such a wonderful news. Love to all of you.” Dia Mirza, Anita Hasnandani, Sunil Grover, Sophie Choudry, Sameera Reddy, and others also showed love and blessings on the new parents.

Gauahar and Zaid got married in December 2020 after dating for a few years. The actress announced her pregnancy last year with a quirky animated video that stated, “One became two when Z met G and now the adventure continues as we soon become three! Gauahar & Darbar + 1, In Sha Allah seeking all your prayers and blessings in this new journey.” Last week, the couple hosted an intimate but grand baby shower for their family members and close friends at their residence in Mumbai and glimpses from the same went viral.
