Arjun Sarja finally heaves a sigh of relief, as he gets a clean chit in sexual misconduct case filed against Sruthi Hariharan
The way of #MeToo movement in India unmasked many faces from the entertainment business for their wrongdoings. With many actresses coming forth unveiling the names of the person for their inappropriate behaviour actress Sruthi Hariharan had accused Arjun Sarja of sexual misconduct. Now as per the latest update by IANS, the actor is given a clean chit in this sexual misconduct. Finally a huge relief for the actor after 3 years of being accused of sexual misconduct by the actress.
As stated in IANS, The Karnataka police clearing all the charges has submitted a 'B-report' to the First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate court. As per the report, the police clearing all the charges against him mentioned having no evidence being found against the actor during the investigation. Actress Sruthi Hariharan who had accused the actor in her Facebook post had claimed the actor inappropriately touching her during a scene rehearsal. The actress had claimed giving an excuse of rehearsal, he hugged her.
Her Facebook post, “I was aghast. I am all for depicting realism in cinema, but this felt absolutely wrong. His intent seemed anything but professional. I hated that he did it and was angry that I didn't know what to say then.”
The two had worked in the film, Vismaya. Following the film, the actress accused him; his fans also protested in Karnataka for the same. On the work front, he was last seen in Tamil movies such as Friendship and Hero, while he has 4 films in the pipeline.
