South Actress Naira Shah Arrested By NCB For Consumption Of Drugs-REPORT
According to a report, South actress Naira Shah and her friend were caught while consuming drugs from a hotel in Mumbai’s Juhu. The report mentioned that the NCB arrested the actress and her friend on Sunday
The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has been working tirelessly to ensure that the consumption of drugs is brought to an end in the city of Mumbai. A recent report mentioned that another actor has been arrested by the NCB. According to a report, South actress Naira Shah and her friend were caught while consuming drugs from a hotel in Mumbai’s Juhu. The report mentioned that the NCB arrested the actress and her friend on Sunday. As per the report, Naira Shah and her friend Ashiq Sajid Husain were arrested following the consumption of charas (cannabis).
According to a report in Zee News, the NCB searched the hotel room during the wee hours of the morning. The hotel was searched as part of NCB’s probe into alleged drug use based on a tip-off, as per a release. The report mentioned that the press release said that the agency recovered one gram of Charas which was rolled into cigarettes during the search. “The room was raided at 3 am and the duo were in possession of one gram of Charas, rolled into cigarettes," according to the report.
As per the report, an office shared that the Santacruz Police made the arrests when Naira and her friend were in the hotel room. The report mentioned that Naira Shah celebrated her birthday bash at the hotel on Sunday night. After the party, Naira’s friend and she returned to the room. According to a report in the Times of India, the police in the report said, “An investigation into the matter is underway. We are trying to find out whether she is involved in any drug racket.”
Meanwhile, Naira Shah and her friend Ashiq Sajid Husain have been booked under the National Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act for alleged drug consumption. As per the report, the actress and her friend were taken to a hospital for a medical examination before being produced before the court.
