Telugu Actress Hamsa Nandini Returns On Set Year After Battling Breast Cancer; Says, ‘Bringing In My Birthday In Front Of The Camera, Where I'm Most Alive’
Hamsa Nandini took to Instagram to share glimpses of her return to the sets of her upcoming movie
Telugu actress Hamsa Nandini, who opened up her breast cancer diagnoses last year, has returned to the sets of her upcoming movie that too on her 38th birthday. The actress has decided to celebrate turning a year older with her co-stars and crew. She took to Instagram to share pictures of her look. Fans couldn’t keep calm seeing the glimpses she shared on her social media handle. Draped in beautiful blood red saree with her hair open, Nandini is seen posing for the camera at the entrance of her vanity van. In the third post she can be seen watching her dance video on the director’s camera.
Expressing her gratitude, she wrote in the caption, “On the movie set and feeling like I'm reborn!!! Bringing in my birthday the best way I know... in front of the camera is where I'm most alive. Celebrating tonight with my costars & my movie crew!! Oh.. how I've missed this. Couldn't have been possible without the massive love and support from all of you. Hugs and kisses. Yay! Her admirers showered her with love as they couldn’t stop gushing over her post. While many filled her comment section with heart and fire emoji, many extended their well wishes. Talking about her diagnoses, Hamsa through her social media posts had kept her fans updated about her journey. From sharing details of her chemotherapy to sharing pictures, she had made sure to ease the worries of her fans.
For the unversed, she had lost her mother to breast cancer 18 years before being diagnosed with it. In a post she had said that she was tested positive for BRCA1 (Hereditary Breast Cancer), a genetic mutation that almost guarantees that she would have a 70% chance of another breast cancer and a 45% chance of ovarian cancer throughout her life.
