Tollywood Actress Shalu Chaurasia Is Hospitalised After She Sustains Head And Eye Injury In Mobile-Snatching Incident In Hyderabad-Report
Tollywood actress Shalu Chaurasia was reportedly injured near KBR Park, Hyderabad, Telangana
Tollywood actress Shalu Chaurasia, on Sunday night, was reportedly, injured in an attack by an unidentified person near KBR Park Banjara Hills, Hyderabad, Telangana. According to a report in India Today, the incident took place around 8.30 pm when the actress was out taking a stroll. The Banjaara Hills Police Station is currently investigating the case. Her mobile phone has been snatched away by the attacker.
The report also stated that Shalu was asked to hand over her money and other valuables by an unidentified man. When she refused, he punched her in the face and tried to attack her with a rock. She has sustained injuries on her head and near her eye. Shalu Chaurasia was later rushed to a private hospital.
Shalu has complained to the police. It is said the Banjara Hills police have registered a case and are currently investigating the matter. In the area where the incident happened, they were CCTV cameras. With that help, the Police will identify the attacker.
Several celebrities, businessmen and political leaders are often seen at KBR Park for morning and evening walks. Back in 2014, the park witnessed an open fire incident. A man had opened fire on Aurobindo Pharma executive K. Nityananda Reddy with an AK-47 while he was sitting in his car after a morning walk. Fortunately Reddy escaped unhurt.
