As the second wave of COVID 19 appears every corner of our nation, the makers of Rana Duggubati and Sai Pallavi’s revolutionary love story, ‘Virata Parvam’, decided to postpone to release date. The film was decided to release on 30th April but it seems till the time this second wave doesn’t come to a minimalist phase, the filmmakers will not release their creations.

Taking to the social media handles, the production house of ‘Virata Parvam’, SLV cinemas announced the news on Wednesday. They wrote, “Due to the second wave of Covid-19 and the alarming rise in cases, #TeamVirataParvam has decided to postpone the movie release from April 30. The new release date will be announced soon. Please mask up and stay safe” While captioning the picture, they wrote, “#VirataParvam Release Postponed! New Release Date will be announced soon.  Please Mask Up & Stay Safe.”


This intense love story is based on the Naxalite movement in Telangana in the 1990s where the simple villager Sai Pallavi falls in love with Naxalite officer Rana and leaves home to chase for love. The film revolves around what tough circumstances she has to go through after leaving her home.

Helmed by Venu Udugula, ‘Virata Parvam’ fe4atures talented actors such as Priyamani, Nanditha Das, Nivetha Pethuraj, Naveen Chandra, Zareena Wahab, Eswari Rao, Sai Chand and others.
