Actress Nayanthara and her longtime filmmaker boyfriend Vignesh Shivan are one of the most loved and popular couples in Kollywood. The duo has been the talk of the town ever since they announced their wedding. Nayanthara and Vignesh are all set to get married in a low-key ceremony on June 9. As per a Pinkvilla report, Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have changed their marriage venue to a resort in Mahabs. A source close to the couple revealed to the portal, “Nayan and Vignesh are getting married at a resort in Mahabs, (Mahabalipuram) in Tamil Nadu. It will be low-key in presence of close friends and family members followed by a lavish wedding reception in Chennai. The wedding preparations are on in full swing. Everything would be very traditional and personalized.”
Earlier, they were reported to exchange wedding vows at the auspicious Tirupati temple in the presence of their families.
Lovebirds Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan have been in a relationship for 6 years now. The two have now decided to take the plunge into the next phase of their life on June 9. Both met and fell in love with each other on the sets of their 2015 film Naanum Rowdy Dhaan. While Vignesh directed the film, Nayanthara played the female lead opposite actor Vijay Sethupathi.
The couple got engaged in March last year and announced the news on Instagram. Vignesh posted a picture of Nayanthara's hand placed on his chest with a ring on it. Later, Nayanthara made their engagement news official on a Tamil chat show as she said, "It was my engagement ring."
