This news has come to light, months after actress Rashmika Mandanna went through a similar ordeal after which she parted ways with her longtime manager. According to a report by Bollywood Life, Samantha was taken aback after finding out about her manager mishandling her funds. The entertainment portal reports that the discovery has led to a lengthy and “unsatisfactory” conversation between the actress and her manager. As per the portal’s sources, the 36-year-old actress is facing a tough time as she had worked with her manager for a longtime. From entrusting her “professional affairs” to him for more than a decade to watching her career grow from Tollywood to pan-Indian, the manager was the actress’ most trusted person. Well, the reports also claim that some producers had warned the Family Man 2 actress that her manager has “undergone a notable transformation for the worse,” before she went to the United States for her medical treatment. According to the entertainment publication, the actress is currently finding a trustworthy person who can handle her affairs.
On the work front, Samantha was last seen in the mythological drama Shakuntalam. Focusing on the first abandoned child in human history, Shakuntala, her fight for her love King Dushyanta and the repercussions she faces because of the same. The movie failed to impress the audiences and the critics at the box-office. Apart from that, she has Citadel co-starring Varun Dhawan and Kushi alongside Vijay Deverkonda in her pipeline.
