Mollywood actress Athmiya Rajan, who is famous for her notable roles in movies titled ‘Sivakarthikeyan’, ‘Joseph’ and ‘Marconi Mathai’, tied the knot on Monday i.e., January 25, 2021. Rajan’s wedding ceremonies took place in Kannur, Kerala. The actress got married to her beau Sanup who is a marine engineer. The couple planned a low-key wedding while following the COVID-19 pandemic guidelines. According to the reports, the reception has been scheduled for today, Jan 26.

On her wedding day, Athmiya Rajan wore a maroon and white saree embellished with zari embroideries and intricately designed golden beads. With chunky gold jewellery and a typical South Indian bridal look, the actress left her fans spellbound. Sanup can be seen wearing an ivory kurta-pyjama which was totally complimenting Athmiya’s bridal attire. Check out their wedding pictures and videos.


For the unversed,  Athmiya  Rajan started her film career with ‘Vellathooval’ in 2009. As a lead actress, she first appeared in ‘Manam Kothi Paravai' in 2012. For the film, 'Joseph' Athmiya bagged  the Kerala Film Critics Award in 2018. Rajan played a character named Stella in Joseph. Her other famous movies are ‘Amoeba,’ ‘Naamam,’ ‘Rose Guitarinaal', ‘Pongadi Neengalum Unga Kadhalum’,  ‘Kaaviyan’ and ‘Vellai Yaanai.’ In 2021, the newlywed actress will be back with a Mollywood film titled  'Aviyal’.
