Internet personality Rakhi Sawant often makes the headlines for her ability to embroil herself in controversy. Weeks after getting her life back on track, in a recent interaction with the media, she revealed that her estranged husband, Adil Khan Durrani who is currently in jail, called her up to apologise and ask for another chance. He was arrested in February. Days after announcing her marriage to him, she had proceeded to file a case against him for alleged domestic violence and mishandling her funds, while she was busy participating in the recent season of Bigg Boss Marathi.
The video of her confession is currently going viral on social media. Posted by Viral Bhayani on Instagram, in the video Rakhi can be seen recalling how Adil had called her up from jail. She proceeded to explain how not only did he ask her for another chance but also refused to divorce her. She went on to reveal how she doesn’t trust him anymore and how she is a little scared. She was heard saying, “Adil ka phone aya tha abhi just jail se. Netizens have taken it upon themselves to mock the Main Hoon Na actress for talking about her ex again. One said, “Ek tha Aadil.....Ek thi Rakhi... Picture khatam Nahi Hui...Ab Picture ka Climax Hai Baaki.” Another said, “Haaa ha jaldi divorce do fir ye 4thi shadi kre kisi or ko bakra bnaye.” Other one said, “RAKHI Season 3 would be air soon.” One wrote, “Jail se phone. For the unversed, Adil was arrested by the Oshiwara police and sent to judicial custody by the Andheri Court. He was arrested after Rakhi had filed an FIR against him for mishandling her funds. Through her many media interactions she also accused him of killing her mother by not paying for her cancer treatment when the actress was busy shooting for Bigg Boss Marathi season 4. He also has an FIR filed against him in Mysuru by an Iranian woman, who accused him of raping her.
