‘Kushal Punjabi Was With Us The Night Before’: Apurva Agnihotri-Shilpa Agnihotri Reveal Late Actor Was Upset Because Of His BROKEN Marriage
Apurva Agnihotri and Shilpa Agnihotri spoke expressed grief over not being able to help their friend Kushal Punjabi, before he took the extreme extreme step of ending his life
Late actor Kushal Punjabi’s suicide left the nation in a world of shock. From his fans to many of his industry friends, many are still reeling from his loss. Having made a name for himself in the television and film industry, he decided to take the extreme step after being unhappy with marriage to Audrey Dolhen. In a recent interview, his friends Apurva Agnihotri and Shilpa Agnihotri recalled how they had spent time with him the night before he was found dead in his apartment in December 2019.
Talking to RJ Siddharth Kannan, Apurva confirmed that Kushal had spent the night before the incident with him. He had gone on to reveal that they had felt a little guilty as they couldn’t help their friend during the tough time. He went on to explain that the late actor needed medical intervention. Quoted by ABP News, the 50-year-old actor went on to add, “A lot of our friends told us that you cannot solve this or help them completely. They need professional help with depression. One cannot continuously act as a shrine for the person who is in depression. We didn’t even pick up a single call to share what we were going through.” Shilpa went on to recall how his broken marriage had taken a toll on Punjabi, he was extremely upset as he was separated from his son Kian. Talking about their personal front, Shilpa and Apurva tied the knot in 2004, the couple embraced parenthood for the first time and welcomed their daughter Ishaani Kanu Agnihotri in December 2022.
