Our small screen divas who aim to look the best on screen, ensure that they have the best makeup artists and hairstylists in place, but there are some exceptional cases like those of Pavitra Punia who don’t need assistance in these departments.
Pavitra who is currently seen playing the negative character of Timnasa on the show Baalveer Returns believes in doing her own makeup. If you’ve closely observed her look on the show, you would realise her costume is extremely heavy and her makeup boasts of elaborate prep-work on her facial features, which makes her overall look, perfectly evil and wicked. Well, the entire credit for her look solely and wholly can be attributed to the actress.

Considering the fact that her look is fixed for the show, we asked her if she regrets that she can’t go experimental as her character’s look demands her to be a certain way. She replied, "Timnasa’s look is fixed, so I actually can't experiment much. But, let me tell you that prior to this show, whatever shows I have done, right from Yeh Hain Mohabbatein to Naagin 3, I have done my own makeup.” And of course, those shows saw Pavitra displaying varied looks.
The best part is unlike others, Pavitra hasn’t learnt the art through any makeup tutorials online. On a parting note, she tells us, “It is a blessing to me that main subah uthi aur mujhe makeup aata tha already.”
Going by her looks so far and especially her current character of Timnasa on Baalveer Returns, we must say, the lady has some serious skills in doing good makeup.
