Former Bigg Boss contestant, Deepak Thakur injured himself while performing a task on Vikas Gupta’s show, Ace Of Space 2. Following the accident, he was immediately rushed to the hospital. Will he be back on the show post his recovery?

Bigg Boss 12 contestant Deepak Thakur is currently seen on Vikas Gupta's reality show, Ace of Space 2. And as per latest reports, the singer, who is locked inside the house has met with an accident following which he has been rushed to the hospital. The accident took place while he was performing the weekly task. According to a source, Deepak severely injured his shoulder while the task was in progress. This week's task was called Bombers and Bomb Squad that left Deepak injured.

The activity was immediately stopped after Deepak got injured. Deepak was examined by the doctors inside the house but was soon taken to the hospital for further treatment. The actor was on a secret mission with Chetna Pande and it was all planned by host and mastermind of the show, Vikas Gupta.

Recently, Deepak Thakur courted controversy when he came out in support of Bollywood singer Mika Singh who had been boycotted and banned in Bollywood, albeit briefly, due to his performance at a wedding in Pakistan.

Bigg Boss fame Deepak Thakur supported Mika through the controversy calling Mika a singer that India should be proud of. Requesting Cine bodies to lift the ban on Mika, Deepika had posted a video on his Instagram feed, with the caption, "Namra Nivedan Ispe sochaa jaaye  Baad baaki Om Namah Shivaye "
