Veteran actress Himani Shivpuri seems to be the recent victim to social media hacking. Taking to Instagram, the veteran actress shared a video informing her fans and followers that her Instagram and Facebook accounts have been hacked. She asked her followers to not believe any messages they receive from her.
Clad in a yellow saree and blue blouse, Shivpuri said, “My friends and my followers, I have a message that my Instagram and Facebook accounts have been hacked.”
She appealed to them, “So in case you get any messages please they are not from me. Just ignore them. Thank you.”
This is not the first time a celebrity’s social media handles have been hacked. These activities have become a honey trap for people to coerce naïve fans to hand out their hard-earned money. From Bollywood celebrities to television stars, many have gone through the hacking of their social media accounts. Fraud such as this is often carried out by misusing names, sending incorrect links and taking advantage of people.
On the work front, Himani Shivpuri is currently playing the role of Katori Singh in Happu Ki Ultan Paltan, a spinoff of Bhabhiji Ghar Par Hain!
