Actor Keval Dasani On Experiencing Casting Couch: 'A Lot Of Known Names Were Taken To Convince Me'- EXCLUSIVE

Actor Keval Dasani, who has been seen in many popular projects like Medically Yours, Gandii Baat Season 6, Aapke Aa Jane Se, says being an outsider, the journey had been tough for him as he didn't know anyone in the showbiz. The actor in an exclusive conversation with us also revealed that like many actors he has also experienced casting couch.
Sharing his journey, Keval reveals, "Who is spared of casting couch? I guess nobody. Over the period of time, I have seen that Casting Couch exists on every level. My first experience when the casting guy tried to convince me was by saying " Aree! Tujhe Nahi pata Sab karte hain. Tu usse janta (by taking some names) woh isiliye toh itna kaam kar raha hai". And then some others also say, "Lead dilwaunga aaja mere Ghar at least try to kar". I have been working very hard since my 1st year of college and I never wanted to choose the easy way, so I rejected all those offers. So it's a harsh reality." Keval advises those who want to become actors, "You should be mentally prepared for every challenge. If you survive and accept every challenge, then definitely, you're gonna crack it someday. Be very practical about everything during your journey as an actor. And most importantly, put a timeline, study your graph, and figure out the corrections needed in whatever sense."
