In a recent interview, Adil Khan Durrani, Rakhi Sawant’s former spouse, disclosed his marriage to Bigg Boss 12 contestant Somi Khan. Amidst ongoing legal battles, Adil claimed his prior union with Rakhi as 'null and void,' alleging her existing marriage during their relationship. He defended his current marriage, emphasizing his innocence amidst legal proceedings. Adil clarified his decision to remarry, asserting his rights as a Muslim to do so openly and with familial approval. He emphasized conducting the nikah ceremony in the presence of family, refuting any notions of secrecy or impropriety. Adil expressed gratitude for the happiness Somi has brought into his life, cherishing the peace and contentment they share together. Speaking about Rakhi Sawant he told Etimes, "She has always spread negativity and she can never give happiness to anyone. Woh Kisi bhi insaan ke life mein enter karke khushiyaan nahi de sakti hai, I’m not like her. I like to spread happiness and Somi has brought happiness in my life and I’m enjoying my happy and peaceful life with her."
Adil and Somi exchanged vows in a modest nikah ceremony on March 3, marked by simplicity and grace. Sharing glimpses of their special day, Adil expressed gratitude to Allah for the blessing bestowed upon them. He extended appreciation to their families and friends for their unwavering love and support, as they embarked on this new chapter of marital bliss. Requesting prayers for a blessed union, Adil concluded with heartfelt gratitude.
It was back in July of the previous year, Rakhi Sawant and Adil Khan Durrani entered into matrimony. However, the situation took a dramatic turn when Adil was apprehended in February 2023 following accusations from the 'Bigg Boss' celebrity, alleging his engagement in extramarital affairs.
