On Sunday, Bigg Boss 13's former contestant Rashami Desai took to her Instagram account and shared an adorable video featuring Desai and Devoleena Bhattacharjee. The video comprised all the moments that she spent with her, right from her Bigg Boss 13 days to after the show and backed it with a friendly and chirpy song that only adds more value. However, after her bestie's wonderful video on her birthday, she got another unforgettable birthday treat from her fans. Well, her fans planned to host her birthday party at an old age home in Assam. Devoleena Bhattacharjee and her fans together run a said organisation "Devoleena Bhattacharjee Helping Hands" They serve people in need. Earlier they donated together for Bihar & Assam floods.
Interestingly, the actress made it clear to her fans that she won't be accepting gifts this year. She adds, "This came to me as a surprise... as I already said to my fans not to send me gifts as the COVID is around and wasting money on gifts won't be a great choice... they together planned to host my b’day party at an old age home in Assam.. they organised a cake cutting and lunch for those beautiful ladies.. I was really pleased. I got to know all about these via social media posts and I'm really proud."
The actress who is here in Mumbai away from her family shares, "This has been my first birthday that I'm away from my family. They all are in Assam. I'm alone here in Mumbai. Because of COVID pandemic, I consider not to travel back Assam or allow them to travel to me here. So, this birthday only my Bappa is giving me his company. We are enjoying our time. It’s a festive birthday."
Devoleena Bhattacharjee is still remember for playing the iconic character of Gopi Bahu in the TV show "Saath Nibhana Saathiya"
