After Kanika Mann, Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paayega Co-Star Nishant Singh Malkhani Tests Positive For COVID-19; Wants Her To Look After Him
Despite the rumour mills that are buzzing with the speculations of Kanika Mann dating Nishant Singh Malkhani, they both have maintained that they are good friends. Some days ago, Kanika tested positive for COVID-19 and Nishant, being her neighbour and her Guddan Tumse Na Ho Paayega co-star, took care of her by sending her food and medicines while also checking on her. Now, Nishant also tested positive for the virus and he wants the same treatment from Kanika as well who recently recovered from the novel virus. Talking to a daily, he asserted that she will look after him as he is currently in isolation and there’s no option.

“Fortunately, she has tested negative. I used to send her food, medicines and check on her every day. I was also in touch with her family and updated them about her health. Kanika is my neighbour. I am sure that she will also send me food and she better sends me good and healthy food now (laughs!). She will have to look after me because I live alone and currently in isolation. There is no option!” he says to BT. He adds, “On a serious note, I am glad that she has tested negative and she is out of it because she was very weak. She had serious symptoms. I couldn’t see her in that state. Bohot bura haal tha. Fortunately, I don’t have those symptoms. I think it will be easier for me.”

Talking about his results, Nishant revealed he was scheduled to travel to Goa for a shoot and before travelling, he had to undergo a mandatory COVID-19 test, which came positive. Upon knowing the result, he isolated himself and will be in quarantine for 14 days. The symptoms were mild as he had a sore throat and experienced weakness but he mistook it for a viral fever. Malkhani said he didn’t expect to be infected as he was being careful and was home throughout the lockdown.
