After Sana Khan, Reality TV Contestant Sakib Khan QUITS Showbiz To Follow His Faith; Says ‘I Was Going Astray, Against My Tenets Of Religion’
Reality TV contestant Sakib Khan announced that he has quit showbiz, and will not be modelling or acting in the future. He wrote that he was going against the tenets of his religion
Sakib Khan, who was seen on a TV reality show, recently took to his social media account to announce that he has quit showbiz. He penned a long social media post, in which he shared that he was going astray, and was going against the tenets of his religion. He shared a few snaps of himself on Instagram, and wrote that he won’t be modelling or acting in the future. He also let fans know that he had great projects in the pipeline, but God had other plans for him.
In his post, Sakib wrote, "Asalamalikum Brothers & Sisters. Hope you all doing good. Today’s post is regarding announcement as i am quitting the SHOWBIZZ. So i won’t be doing any modelling and Acting in future.Aisa nahi hai ki kaam nahi tha mere paas or i gave up !! I had good projects in line. Bus Allah ki marzi nahi thi. Zarur kuch achaa aur behtar Allah ne soncha hoga mere liye. Insha Allah.” He further wrote how he has seen people struggling to survive in Mumbai, but he achieved great fan following and fame within a short span of one year. “But wo toh Duniya k lye aur Aakhirat (life after death) k lye toh kuch bhi nahi,” he wrote.
He wrote that he used to pray and offer namaaz but found that his ‘sukoon’ and his accountability towards God was lacking. “So now I totally surrendering before Allah SWT,” he wrote. Read his entire post below:
It was in October last year that Sana Khan had also announced suddenly on social media that she was quitting showbiz. In her note, she had written, “Today I am talking to you standing at a crucial juncture of my life. For years, I have been living the Showbiz (film industry) life, and during this time I have been blessed with all kinds of fame, honour and wealth from my fans for which I am grateful to them.” She wrote that she realized that she shouldn’t make ‘wealth and fame’ her only goal, and that she would serve humanity and follow the order of her Creator.
