Ajaz Khan Reveals He Was Suffering From ‘Anxiety And Depression’ While Being Imprisoned For 26 Months; Says, ‘Ek Toilet Mein 400 Log Jaate Hain’
Actor and reality show star Ajaz Khan made the headlines in 2021, when he was detained by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) at the Mumbai Airport, in a drug case. He was arrested the same year in March. Two years after his arrest, on 19 May 2023, he was granted bail from the Arthur Road jail. Now, in a recent interaction, he has revealed that his experiences inside the jail gave him depression and anxiety.

In an interview with the Times Of India, the Bigg Boss 7 contestant shared that one day in jail feels like a year. While he refused to comment on the person “who made the case against me (refers to Sameer Wankhede),” he wished him good luck. He revealed that he was considered guilty in the case, even before the verdict was out. Khan explained that not only did he miss out on work in the past 26 months, but also missed out on watching his son grow-up. Ek toilet mein 400 log jaate hain. Imagine the state of that toilet! I went through anxiety and depression. It was tough but I had to survive for my family, which comprises my 85-year-old father, wife, and son.” ALSO READ: Bigg Boss 7 Fame Ajaz Khan Sent To Judicial Custody; Actor Isolated At A Mumbai Hospital After Testing Positive For COVID-19- EXCLUSIVE
